Elder Financial Abuse Awareness

Tuesday, March 14, 12-1pm
@ United Community Bank (Perham)

Is Mom giving her credit card information out over the phone to a scam artist? Why is Dad’s new caregiver managing his money? This class is geared towards empowering children of aging parents to prevent, identify, and protect their elderly loved ones against financial abuse, but adults of any age are encouraged to attend. We have seen an increase of financial scams targeting the elderly, including manipulation by friends, family, or caregivers. Learn the warning signs and what you can do to get help for your loved ones, or get help yourself.
