UCB Welcomes Hans Larson as a Mortgage Lender
United Community Bank Welcomes Hans Larson as Mortgage Lender
PERHAM, Minn. – United Community Bank (UCB) is pleased to announce the addition of Hans Larson as a Mortgage Lender. Hans brings a strong commitment to customer service, and community involvement.
Before entering the mortgage industry, Hans spent more than 20 years serving families and communities through funeral service. That experience reinforced the importance of compassion, communication, and helping people navigate some of life’s most significant moments.
“After more than 20 years in funeral service, I was ready for a new chapter,” said Larson. “I chose mortgage lending because it still allows me to help people through a major life moment—achieving homeownership. I’m excited to do that at UCB while building a career with more balance and a strong customer service focus.”
Hans believes community is at the heart of everything UCB does.
“Community is important because it creates connection, trust, and a sense of belonging,” Larson said. “In towns like Perham, Frazee, and Dent, relationships matter, and people want to work with businesses that are truly invested in the place they call home. That’s one of the things I appreciate about UCB. The bank continuously gives back, supports local people, schools, and businesses, and helps strengthen the communities it serves.”
“We are excited to welcome Hans to the UCB team,” said Alec Meyer, Mortgage Lending Manager. “His passion for helping others, strong ties to the community, and customer-focused approach make him an excellent addition to our mortgage department.”
Customers interested in purchasing a home, building, refinancing, or exploring mortgage options are encouraged to contact Hans at the UCB Main Branch in Perham to learn more about how UCB can help them reach their homeownership goals.
